It has been said, that from now on Verizon Wireless as made it manditory for all incoming smartphones and tablets to the inventory to be 4G LTE capable. This tells us a lot, it tells us that the next iPhone and the next iPad will most likely be 4G LTE capable with the other upgrades included for each.
