A little video made for other DSM enthusiasts or electronic DIY-ers : my 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse RS. I’m the original owner, and have done a few mods over the years.
Video Rating: 4 / 5

I ordered the electronic parts off of digikey, for the most part. Stock taillight housings. They don’t fog up, but if you don’t put window sealent (home depot silicone) around the housing when you put the lens back on, dirt will get inside and you’ll have to open them up clean them once in a while.

yo u gotta tell me were u got all the shit ?? ill do them at home but do they fog up on cold days or leak ?

  3. nezerac says:

everything you said MATTERS and I love that I’m not the only one who thinks about things like that. Still think you should be selling some instructions online on how to do these builds though….I’d go out and buy an eclipse right now 😀

  4. zero2infamous says:

    Wow. Lights are amazing

  5. ezdeezytube says:

Too much! It took me a very long time to solder all those connections. I don’t want to ever do it again 🙂

  6. OSKR HERNÁNDEZ says:

    tell me, How much?
    i really want them

  7. ezdeezytube says:

No doubt homie, the 4g63 AWD vs FWD discussions have been going on for years. Anyways I love my RS, and the GSX is awesome too 🙂

  8. shbrg8 says:

Lighter yes, faster no. Gsx are reliable when taken care of (they get a bad rap of being unreliable simply because they are abused more than rs’s) and pretty much just as easy to work on. There is only so much you can do to ANY fwd vehicle without dealing with major understeer issues and there is no way you will get 36mpg after any sort of performance upgrade that gets you in the 10’s. Thanks for answering me, I am not knocking your car, I just wondered why, but you answered that, thanks

  9. ezdeezytube says:

I bought this car new, when it was roughly half the price of a GSX. It’s 500 lbs lighter than a GSX, and that’s BEFORE weight reduction mods. The RS is much more reliable, fewer things to break. Better mileage: 36 mpg freeway. Cheaper to insure. Easier to work on. And given that the RS has proven to be capable of 10 second runs with the HRC turbo kit, how much faster do I need to go? Awesomeness is right here my friend.

    sex

  11. shbrg8 says:

Awesome job! But why would anyone ever, ever, ever, ever everever (yes, everever) bother to mod anything on a RS??? Get yourself a gsx my friend and enjoy the awesomeness of turbo awd!?!?!……………

  12. EzeeeeyNYC says:

If the little transAM from night rider (kit) had a little brother this would be it. Lol love the vid man. Goodwork-

  13. David R says:

That is genius, good job sir, I wish I could do something like that ._.

  20. ezdeezytube says:

I don’t know about that, but I like to mix art and engineering together, to make functional art.

  21. ezdeezytube says:

Greatest cost was in the time spent. Over 100 hours just soldering.

  22. ezdeezytube says:

It’s a 13 year old economy car. How much more budget minded can you get? And my daily driver is actually a bicycle.

  23. qwerty0272 says:

Are you some kind of genius? ._.

  24. TunerMilitia says:

    How much?

  25. ezdeezytube says:

I like the way you do business Jackie
