This video is meant as constructive criticism! I love Darky’s ROM as it finally helps to get the full potential out of my SGS and I did donate to Darky for his good work! Video showing two nasty WiFi bugs in the Darky 9.0.2 custom rom for the Samsung Galaxy S i9000 phone. Bug 1: even when connected to a wifi network, it keeps scanning every 2 seconds. Bug 2: when wifi sleep policy is set to turn off wifi when the screen is off, it won’t turn on and when you do turn it on yourself, it won’t connect and gets into a loop of turning off/on wifi etc.. This wasn’t the case on Darky rom 7.0, 7.5 or even 8.0 and 8.1. I got these bugs after I went from 8.1 to 9.0. (all no-wipe). After that I flashed to 9.0.2 but no fix (yet). Other details: I’m on voodoo kernel. Also I can confirm the sound bug on this rom ie if you play music it will “crackle” and click like an old record. I will flash to 9.1 and report back if I still have this bug after that.
