This video will demonstrate the general process for installing custom ROMs onto Android devices. There are several different ways to install ROMs, but this is how I do it on my HTC Incredible and Nook Color. This video assumes you have already rooted your device. If you haven’t rooted your device yet, please do so before completing the steps in the video. You cannot install ROMs without rooting your device. Due to the nature of Android and its ecosystem, the processes for installing ROMs (and rooting for that matter) may differ between devices. That being said, the steps shown in the video /might/ not work for some devices. If you run into problems, please search for a tutorial demonstrating how to install ROMs for your specific device. If you’ve never installed ROMs before, the two I would try out are CyanogenMod and MIUI: CyanogenMod: www.cyanogenmod.com MIUI: romsmaster.miui.us Disclaimer: I’m not responsible for any damage done to your device while attempting to install ROMs. By rooting your device you’ve already voided your warranty.
