Just a quick review on the recently released Gingerbread firmware for Galaxy S. The ROM is pretty Samsung STOCK and has no much changes to offer but a new Task Manager, better battery statistics, new taskbar icons, refreshed icons in menus, little changes in Wireless Settings. There is enormous LAG so I consider this a deal braker, in case you currently run a custom build with custom kernel and lagfixes. So, if you are pleased with what you have now – this release of Gingerbread for the Galaxy S can be skipped and wait for a new (better one) or just donate to you favorite custom ROM builders and get yourself a cool and lag-free Gingerbread (Darky and DocRambone).
