  1. hidspeed says:

for most vehicles yes blue is hi beam,,, white is lo beam.. and brown/black is ground..

  2. Mack Wilson says:

question the white wire Ground? BLUE Hi BROWN Lo? If not what order

  3. hidspeed says:

you have to make sure you are getting power from the relay.. use a light tester to check to see if you are getting power on both ends of the relay connector to the ballast.

  4. Dylan G says:

Hi,, I have a land rover defender and I installed my hids exactly as shown in the video except that I connected the + and ground wires with the side lights since the defender battery is a bit far (its underneath the passenger’s seat). I don’t know if that’s the problem but they won’t switch on. What do you think? tnx

  5. hidspeed says:

yes,,, Bi-xenon kits and/or lo beam kits with a relay only use 1 side of the OEM plug.

  6. Jologito says:

is there only one 3pin connector that comes with the kit? so after i have plugged it on the other side, ill just leave the other side hanging?

  7. Travis Hall says:

jesus, don’t be gentle with the new hardware or anything…

  8. MrDavidelliottjr says:

i installed it all as it all plugs in.. i may be defctiv i dont know ima have to get anoutherrrrrr one

  9. hidspeed says:

It should not blink… What type of kit did you get? where did you buy it.. if the hi beam did not work right of the back it could be an issue with the harness.. I would get this swapped for a working one. If you hook up lo beam only you may be getting a resistance issue with the power and that may be the reason why its flickering.

  10. MrDavidelliottjr says:

    1998 mustang gt

  11. hidspeed says:

what kind of vehicle did you installed this on?

  12. MrDavidelliottjr says:

98 mustang gt is the vehicle

  13. MrDavidelliottjr says:

  14. hidspeed says:

its meat to help when reflecting the light on your headlight but if you want more light you can take it off.

  15. tunerfreak20 says:

Do you need that silver cover on the bulbs? Im using kensun 8000k and the covers kinda hinder the light. Do I need it?

  16. tanktrx says:

you need a converter for your lights

  22. hidspeed says:

There are two ways to fix the issue _ either disable the DRL completely of bypass it. If you would like to bypass it give us a call 916-429-1333 and we will tell you what you need.

  23. Remi Valdez says:

I have HIDs on my 08 Si… But my day running lights flicker and strobe like crazy. But when I switch the brights they work. Any idea on how to fix it?

  24. hidspeed says:

This video is meant to give people an Idea of how the HID KIT is installed. We did not go into detail as of how you are supposed to hide all the wiring and make everything look stock.

  25. Taylor Larkin says:

dude. i hope no one is paying you to install. Ive put Six HID kits in 4 cars…if i did it you would never know the car had any thing after market if you popped the hood.. poorly done
