checking out my new LED.. it’s a 100 chip ~100W ~8000lumen. im running it here at about 31V and 3.2A. i took the video in manual mode of the camera trying to show the brightness without having it regulated down by the cameras auto exposure.

You can remove the entire overhead console to get access to the bulbs from the top. Shoot us an email and we can send some photos or a link to a different companion video for you to view.

Some problem like BP5ec18L. I have o8 m3 there are lens cover that dome light on each side

You may try viewing another video we have that helps remove hard to reach bulbs. Using some tape and needle nose, it can help you remove the bulb:

OK, having a problem with the map lights. On my car, there is a little plastic cover almost like a pane of glass in each map light. So, unlike your video, I can’t reach into it and pull it out w/fingers as you did. Also, not really enough room around edges for pry tool. Suggestions? Thanks!!

The LEDs in our packages do not exhibit the same issues you have described. Most likely the LEDs you purchased were not CanBus LEDs. Regular LEDs cause many issues with BMW vehicles.

I bought LEDs from a different company before and I was super upset because the dome and map lights would go out after a couple seconds while i was driving. I emailed the people and they said it was normal but that just doesnt seem right. Before I finally get these I wanted to know if that would happen on these

This DOES NOT void the BMW warranty in any way. The interior lights are not tied to any major electrical system and are protected by its owns lighting fuse. The LED’s we use are selected to work specifically with BMW’s to avoid any electrical issues and will not cause error warning lights.

The color of bulbs we used in the video is 6000K. The package that you purchase from us are all plug and play LEDs, not modules. You will not need to modify your vehicle.

Hi,
Not all SMD type LEDs will work for every vehicle. It also depents, we use a 50/50 SMD type LED whereas some are 35/28 SMD and are actually less bright.
A 50/50 represents the length and width of the actual chip, meaning 5mm by 5mm and contains 3 diodes per chip. a 35/28 is rectangular and is 3.5mm by 2.8mm and contains only 1 diode.
There is alot that goes into picking the correct LED for the best application and we would need more info to say what is best.
Why not use 20 SMD led they are really bright had a set of ten W5W from eBay for £5.29 upgraded interior and exterior looks perfect then the 5 SMD LED

You know what, you’re right. This is obviously a HUGE problem that is not being discussed by anyone else other than your teacher ;-)
It probably doesnt affect the chip too much with a low exposure and small aperture though (which is what i set the camera to).. But anyway my camera still does nice pictures. And if i need more color i use photoshop.
searching online? i couldnt find anything about it, its obviously not a common talked about issue on yahoo answers. My physics teacher is right he had a whole powerpoint showing before and after colours from bright light affects
Well honestly, you need to go back to your school and yell at your physics instructor. Forget what you were taught. Just do some searching online and you’ll see its not like that.
We learned about this kind of stuff at school with advanced physics bright light affects the way camera recieves future colours the brightness basically screws up the colour detecting making everything have more and more faded colours.
Seriously, I dont know where you are getting your information. Camera sensor is not like our eyes. I also googled around and found nothing that backs up what you believe. I think you’ve been fed some incorrect information. Heat can affect a sensor but not bright light.
It is very bad for a camera, its base on this and lumens. Heres an example, flash that in the direction of your eyes and you will be blinded for 5-10 seconds. Look at the sun, Nothing happens to your sight. Im not talking about lumens im talking about the intesity of the colour. The sun doesnt damage lenses nearly as bad.
Its not bad for the camera. How many lumens do you think you get into a CCD when you go outside on a nice bright sunny day. LOTS. LOL.

thanks for your worries but it wasnt a problem. i used low aperture. only a little over exposure when filming the room. The direct filming of the LED was only short flashes. If this would be a problem you couldn’t take videos in bright sunlight could you?
THAT IS SO BAD FOR YOUR CAMERA DUDE IT RUINS THE COLOUR DETECTOR MAKING EVERYTHING YOU USE THE CAMERA FOR HAVE LESS COLOUR. Google it for proof if you dont believe me!
