The first semester I barely managed a C in the class. Barron's is very in depth when trying to teach the concepts but its not the best book to do practice problems. This book compared to Princeton Review blows it away in terms of comprehensiveness and adequacy in preparing you for the AP Chemistry exam. Taking the AP Chem test today as a matter of face. I would recommend this to any student in AP Chemistry or Honors Chemistry as this follows the national guidelines rather than local or state restrictions.
