What is the “backside” of the ring? Is it the side with the notches or without? Will it work on 1990-1997 Ford T-Birds and Mercury Cougars XR-7?

Well done and easy to folow. But think i rather pay a few dollars for the real thing knowing its tested and will not fail. Thanks though. Yes need a soldering iron and water proof glue.
